Custom filed link and upgrade

Dear Community,

Can i use custom filed to link support ticket and task and/or project? If this possible, after than i make an update to new version, can i keep this modification?

Dear Tibi,

Custom fields will remain after updates. You can safely create custom fields for link field types. Just make sure you put correct DocType in options.
