Custom Forms in different Workspaces


Considering how Sales Invoice is located both in Sales and in Accounting. I was wondering two things:

  1. Can I do the same with a custom form. Have it in two modules or workspaces.
  2. And if so, I can have the list automatically filter by a value. For example in one workspace I would like to show all records that are approved. In another workspace show all the records that are rejected.

Custom forms have been implemented to some degree with the DocType Layout doc, though it’s a very limited implementation at this point.

For the listview, you can set as many shortcuts as you’d like for a single doctype. Whatever filters you put on the count filter will be applied when the listview loads.
