How to set the custom icon for my custom app in erpnext?

Could not get the proper guidance even from the Google for this issue. I had gone through the documentation but nothing to work in my app.

My problem is I want to get proper guidance for this stuff.
For example: In this link, there is a path written in icon key like “assets/frappe/images/frappe.svg”. But where to create this assets folder. In My app or use the base frappe assets folder which is inside the sites.
