Customer Portal custom sidemenu not working

Hi Community,
In portal settings i have added a doctype named measurement collection in Custom Sidebar Menu. In the customer portal the given name is showing in the sidebar but when i click on the measurement option it is showing 404 and page not found error.
Below I have attached the images of what i get and what i have.
