I would like to customise the ticket ID format instead of using the default 000001 counter.
I followed Auto-increment Ticket ID - #2 by ejaaz but the naming field is set to “autoincrement” and is greyed out, not allowing changes. I deleted all existing tickets (demo site) and still it wont let me change from autoincrement to any of the other options.
Is there a way to do this?
Specifically, I’m looking for a ticket ID in the format YYMM-XXXXX (where YYMM is year & month - i.e. 2511 and XXXXX is a incrementing counter)
