Customize Doctype - Document Type still Exist?

It mentioned we can choose either doctype is master or transaction , but I can’t see it.

Wondering if this information is outdated ?still necessary to set either master or transaction for doctype ?

Seems document is outdated. Will fix this soon.

No need to set Master or Transaction type while creating a doctype.

If doctype is submittable then it’s considered as transaction else it’s a master.
