Customizing Get Items

Hey,
When I do a stock entry for material transfer to manufacture, I have a custom variable that I have set. Now, I want to get all the items in the stock entry which have value for the custom variable equal to what I want to search. How is that possible. I don’t mind paying for this mod. Please advise…

where you have the custom variable set, which doctype? Anyways you can add filters to set_query for item_code in stock entry using a custom script.
