Customizing SMS

Some questions I'd like to throw out here:
  1. Can one edit the premade message templates for SMS? Templates exist but I don't see a way to edit them (hosted cloud version)
  2. Is there an SMS log where we can track what SMS were sent and by who?

There are a number of bulk SMS service providers who provide option for sending customized SMS and preset templates that you can use to send bulk SMS.
