Cycle Count By Usage or ABC Counting

Completely understand Stock Reconciliation as a means of stock startup and periodic material counts, and it doesn’t completely fit our needs. Is there any mechanism for “cycle counting” material via ABC counting or counting by Usage?? The idea is to count and reconcile a % of randomly generated materials every work day all year long, by the year end every material has been counted at least once. High moving items counted multiple times.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stock counting still seems to be one of ERPNext’s few weak points :pensive:

@olamide_shodunke I believe you did some work on this a little while back. Was it eventually completed?

That’s a major downside. Its standard practice for us to count a % of items every day/week and by year end all are counted. Not sure how to proceed, custom app or something else.
