D/W between Document Naming Rule and Document Naming Settings

Hello Everyone,

I have setup the document naming setting and for the specific condition have setup the document naming rule. Sometimes the document naming rule works but sometimes it doesn’t and takes the series from the document naming settings.
I have also set the priority 1 in the rule.

Please explain to me what is the difference and why it’s not working.
