Hi, we are importing data from our old system to ERPNext, is it possible to import the creation dates for all the docs as well?
ERPNext’s current data import tool doesn’t have this capability yet, and probably there’s a reason for it. Just wondering if there’s a way to do it and what complications will it involve.
How are you importing? I think you would have to create a custom field in each doctype to hold the creation date and then import your date to that. Depending on the format of the date in your old system, the type of field you create may be a challenge if you plan on doing date arithmetic.
