Data Import for Journal Entry in ERPNext

Hello all,

When I use data import for journal entries in erpnext, despite precising the title of the journal entry in the import template, once uploaded the title always changes to the first account in the Accounting Entries.

How to load the title correctly in erpnext?

Export the imported records and using update existing records add title of your requirement.

Why do you need to import existing journal entries?
Only import

  • closing balances of Balance Sheet Accounts
    and the things which contribute to them like:
  • Outstanding Sales and Purchase Bills
  • Unreconciled Entries (Keep them as oustanding only, tip)
  • Stock Balances of Items
  • Master Data of customer, supplier and employee incase HR module is there.
  • Open Purchase & Sales Orders to continue working with flow.
