Deduct stock item after drug prescription


We are a non-profit hospital and I am trying to find a way of deducting from the stock level after drugs have been issued to a patient by either a doctor or pharmacist. We are using the Stock/Warehouse as our pharmacy but we can’t use the sales module because we do not sell any drugs or items to our patients.

Would appreciate any ideas about how we could go about this. Thank you.


Instead of selling module, use stock entry type Material issue, this will deduct stock from warehouse and expense will be recorded.
