Designing print format for pre-printed papers

This might be out of topic for ERPNext. In that case, I’m sorry.

I have a customer who ordered like a million of pre-printed invoice papers (with headers, tables, fields, etc) sitting in a cabinet. They want ERPNext to print out to these papers instead of buying additional blank papers.

I know that I need code the format using jinja template to get something like this. But my question is in testing the format. I have a scanned image of their pre-printed page. Any idea on how to test-print to this scanned image (like to a PDF file), instead of actually printing out to test and waste papers?

Again, I’m sorry if this is out of topic for ERPNext.

You can try out adding it as a water mark and see where fields fit it. Go through this thread, might help you.
