Disabling auto pick serial number

ERPnext v15.5.0

Has this setting been replaced? I need to deselect it because the auto pick is creating many errors.
It has ‘Delivered’ the wrong serial number as it overwrite the one I had inputted.

I found a possible solution from a thread in 2015. However, the setting doesnt seem to exist in my version.
Is there an alternative solution?
