i am having issue in sales invoice while applying discounts for items for some items it is working for some not what is the issue…
when i enter the discount it becomes zero

Perhaps this occurs when a pricing rule is applied to the item 
so you are saying we need to add pricing rule then this discount will work??
No, I said this would happen if a price rule was applied. So please check it out.

Facing Same issue. I have rule in Pricing Rule. There is no Item Price in Item Price doctype. Still when I try to apply discount amount or discount %, it becomes zero. Even at Item level I allowed 100% discount.
