Is it possible to show user name on desk page OR navbar?

To my knowledge, not possible in a standard, unmodified ERPNext.

You can do it with Client Script.

Can you? I thought the Client Scripts were associated with a particular DocType. How would you do a global change to the navbar or Desk? :thinking:

Sorry my mistake… what I meant was the script for client (js codes). Not the Client Script doctype (from GUI). Autocorrect on phone.
