Displaying readable titles instead doctype ID

Hi Team

We have several tables (e.g. Timesheet) where the id of the selected link is displayed. For instance TASK-2024-00524. This happens either when selecting the linked item or after it has been entered. This is very confusing for our users.

Is there a way to display the subject or another field instead of this id?
