I created a new module in my custom app, and it was successfully added. However, when I created a new Doctype under this module, its files were not generated in the app directory. The Doctype appears in the UI but is missing in the file system. I also made sure that developer mode was enabled. I faced this issue while solving the final assignment of the Full-stack App Development with Frappe course.

Please, login with the user ‘Administrator’, it will not work with any other user, even with System Manager role.

This issue occurs due to an improperly set up custom app module. To fix it, uninstall the custom app from the site and bench, then set it up from scratch and check in the app directory. Make sure that login as a Administrator with the System User role
