In the doctype that I have created, I have set Auto Name as SITE-.#####

Till I don’t enable web view, the id generated follows the naming rule as specified. But as soon as I enable web view, the id generation rule is no longer effective and the id generated takes the form of Title in small case with dash separated words.

Is there any setting to enforce to let the id generation strictly follow the rule as set in Auto Name rule.
FYI, the route field gets this value when a record is saved for the doc type:
