Does not allow setting delivery warehouse

I am starting new. When creating an item, there is no option to set the Delivery Warehouse in the inventory section. I have selected maintain stock.

This prevents me from creating a sales order because it fails with the error “Delivery warehouse required for stock item”.

How do I set the delivery warehouse when creating a new item or editing an existing item?

Please set the default warehouse in the Stock Settings.

When create a new item then it automatically the set warehouse in the Item Defaults.
