Does the ERPsystem logs the modifications done on Warehouse & Serial Number Docs?

I wanted to check what’s the latest updated on the doc and who initiated the change.

I am reluctant to give a Yes/No answer, because I suspect the answer might vary, depending on ERPNext Version or environment.

Instead, here’s how you can find out!

1. Open the document (Warehouse, Serial Number, etc)
2. Click the 'Customize' button.
3. Examine the value of ‘Track Changes’
   • If box is marked, then Yes.
   • Otherwise, no.

Changes can be seen at the bottom of each Document. They are also visible from another page named “Version List”. See screenshot below.

Warning: Only creation and modifications are logged. Not deletions.
