Does user password also restored?

I’m moving sites to a new server by using backup and restore.
But before doing so, I wonder if the user credentials are also restored to the new site or not.
How do I check what password does the user have on the new site?
Do I need to create new password for each user?
Is it possible to change user password via bench cli?

All users ID and password are same when you migrate db from 1 site to another. Only Maria db password will be of new site. Also frappe user will also be of new site. Customization will also remain same.

You don’t have to make any new user. If you are using domain name as per previous site then users will not even know that there has been a change in server.
