Duplicating an item with a default BoM

Hi,

I’m on ERPNext V5. Let’s say I’m trying to duplicate an item that has a default BoM. When I click on the Item and use the Duplicate feature in the Menu, the default BoM is also copied, because of which I cannot save this item, which means I cannot use this feature on Items that have a default BoM. Which partially defeats the purpose this feature was created, I think.

Would you please address this when you get a chance?

If the BOM is “submitted” it would not work. If you duplicate the BOM before “submitting” it should work and will save the duplicate entry with the new BOM Title.
