hi folks,
To assign a task to a user… one has to first create a task, save it then go to left sidebar and click “+” icon named assigned to then add a user and hit save ? and now a todo is created to remind the assigned user of the task he is given … isnt the task already a reminder to get a thing done?
wouldn’t it be better if it was possible to add a field in the new task form and just assign it to any user or multiple users…
if anyone knows a simple way… pls suggest…
The same way todo is confusing…
if we create a todo for any user the user will see the to-do in his list but wont know who has assigned the todo…(no field to mentioned this) yes “assigned by” field is there but it only get filled if todo is created by assigning from any other doctype , creating a standalone todo for another user doesnt auto fill assigned by …
