I'd like to change the properties of an item that is already saved, but all the options are greyed out and there is no "edit" button. How does one change an item after it is saved?

Sure! I've attached a screenshot to this post. It may be difficult to see, but none of the options can be selected. Maybe there is some setting I need to change?

How did you do that? Was it intentional?

It was not intentional, I entered all of the items using the .csv import functionality.
I will try to enter the items manually and see if this still occurs.

Thank you for the help, I believe when I imported the items I selected to submit them by accident. It seems to be working now!

You should also remove submit permission for Item.
