Email stuck in queue - RQ Job Scheduler Active

Our emails are suddenly getting stuck in Email Queue. This wasn’t a problem before but today it started happening. All emails that we try to send are showing “not sent” in the email queue. I’ve tried to search for solutions and have checked that RQ Jobs is showing “Scheduler Active”. I’ve seen some people say to change “pause_scheduler” 1 to 0 and trying to refresh the site but I am unsure what this means and how to go about doing it. Some help would be appreciated. Thanks

Check Email Queue Status if it is Resume Sending then change it to Suspend Sending
