Employee Checkin Synced but not Auto Attendance

Hi Team,

I’m trying to integration Biometric with HRMS Attendance.
I was able to get the integration working with Employee Checkin DocType.
However the auto attendance feature doesn’t work as expected and also, I have setup the Shift Type with auto attendance and I have assigned the Shift to the Employees as well.
I looked up for ways to do auto attendance or manually pull attendance from Employee Check-in but didn’t find anything on that as well.

Hi @olisterr,
Via api you also need to update last sync of checkin (in shift type) only then auto attendance would be marked.

This can be overcome by creating a simple server script whose function is to capture the last check IN/OUT from the employee checkin doctype, then automaticaly enter the value into the “Last Sync Of Checkin” field.
