We configures the Bio metric Device to Punch In Data to ERPNext using Python Script.

All data is getting stored except Shift Detail. I can see Shift Field is a link type and suppose to fetch data automatically from Shift DocType based on Employee.

Pl refer the image below, in that the Shift colomn is empty.

Pl help us to resolve the issue.

I found the reason myself. Today is Sunday, since part of holiday list linked with the Shift. So no shift is assigned and I have to claim CO.
