i had also tried Print Server from setting but its not fetching printer in ERPNEXT
Hi,
The Epson M30 should work with an iPad, but there are a few things to verify if ERPNext isn’t detecting it.
First, make sure the printer and the iPad are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If the printer supports network printing, confirm that it has a valid IP address assigned. You can usually print a network status sheet from the printer to verify its network settings.
If you’re using ERPNext through a browser on the iPad, keep in mind that iPadOS has limitations when it comes to communicating directly with receipt printers. In many ERPNext setups, receipt printing relies on the Print Server running on a separate computer (Windows, macOS, or Linux) that remains connected to the same network. The iPad alone cannot run the ERPNext Print Server service.
Also, ensure that:
-
The ERPNext Print Server is installed and running on your computer.
-
The Epson M30 is detected by the Print Server.
-
The Print Server is correctly connected to your ERPNext instance.
-
The printer is mapped to the appropriate print format or document type in ERPNext.
If the printer still isn’t appearing, could you share:
-
How the Epson M30 is connected (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB)?
-
Your ERPNext version.
-
Whether the printer is visible using AirPrint or the Epson TM Utility app on the iPad.
That information will make it easier to identify whether the issue is with the printer, the network, or the ERPNext Print Server configuration.
