Our customer are brick and mortar retail stores
I need a 3 tier customer hierarchy
grandparent
child
grandchild

Not using real names
”Widget” is an umbrella name -grandparent
”Widget of Florida” is a child-it operates completely independently from the grandparent
”Widget of Florida Miami Store” is a child of ”Widget of Florida” and grandchild of ”Widget” — these do not work independently from its parent — they have their own ship to addresses – and sometimes orders are written for them but bill to is their parent

How do I set this structure up in ERPnet

I fee like helping you;

  1. Customer Group = Grand Parent
  2. Child = Customer
  3. Create another doctype and set it as accounting dimension = Grandchild in this case.

ERPNext is capable to record and report them all three levels at once.
