I am currently working on customising ERPNext for Construction Projects. Please send me an email [email protected].

Tool has below features:

  1. Project definition and access.
  2. Ability to upload GFC drawings
  3. Plan your project using MPP like interface.
  4. Define Bill of Quantities for each task (like BOM)
  5. Mobile app for tracking task execution, material consumption and so on.
  6. Role definitions for Site Engineer, contractors , Adminstrators with workflows
  7. Material Management with end to end reconciliation

Hello Everyone, we partially develop the solution, however, due to our countryā€™s political & financial instability. Our customers have stopped spending money on this project.

So, we will work on this project again when any project comes again or that customer like to start again.

Is the project open source? Iā€™m willing to contribute as a dev. Iā€™m currently looking to such solution. Considering developing one if I donā€™t find an adequate project

Iā€™m also interested in collaborating on a Construction App.

Must be open source, have features like T&M billing, Iā€™m considering a ā€œdual-pricing modelā€ (ability to separate line item pricing with components (labor vs material and/or rough-in,trim/finish aka phase of work), work order, change orders, etc.

Please review, and finalise requirements / features needed in Phase - 1, Phase 2 and so on. This does not require coder / ERPNext | Frappe experts, but experts of construction. The whoever can contribute as developers / coder can raise hand, we will produce a usable app, with humble beginning.

As this thread was started about 8 years back, and not sure that contributors to this thread still interested or not. As those who need, must have found some solution. If they are using other solution they can also contribute by telling the pain points the solution they are using so that we can take-care of those issues.

civil contracting app is set of doctypes that record data and give you ability to make journal entry from that data.

That app solved my problem, I shared it so developers can refer the code. It is not maintained anymore. I do not use it.
