ERPNext Gmail SMTP emails going to Spam

Hello,

I have configured Gmail SMTP in ERPNext (smtp.gmail.com, port 587, TLS, app password). Emails are showing as Sent in Email Queue with no errors.

However, all emails are going to the Spam folder on the recipient side.

I have already:

  • Disabled always_use_account_email_id_as_sender

  • Set proper sender name and content

  • Tested with different email IDs

Still facing the same issue.

Is this expected with personal Gmail SMTP?
Any way to improve deliverability or avoid spam?
