ERPNext + offline point of sale

Hi,
I am new to ERPNext and I’m planning to integrate ERPnext with Offline point of sale application such as (unicenta), I need your help to make sure if this process is possible and can be completed without any problems.

If I am not mistaken the POS built in to ERPNext is actually offlline capable (with the need to sync it to the ERPNext server/database) once in a while.

I am sure once you search for POS here in the forum you may get an idea of the status
