Has anyone able to use ERPNext POS and print out to thermal printer and cash register using iPAD?

I have tried it on Windows and it worked perfectly due to Windows OS and USB Comm.

Now, I am seeking advice on using on an iPAD.

http://www.starmicronics.com/printer/multifunction_system/mpop seems like a solution but I havent done a test on it yet.

Another solution will be to integrate Printing SDK into ERPNext app.

Or using Airprint thermal printers.

Just wondering if anyone had the experience of using ERPNext POS on an ipad.

That mPOP seems like a great little solution. Did you end up testing it out? I don’t think there’s any reason it wouldn’t run with an Android or Linux tablet as well.

No I didn’t as Windows printing is sufficient for me at this point of time

It will be great if mobile app allows direct printing instead of going thru the Windows Print dialogue

As mentioned for cash register to open automatically when receipt is printed, the connection from POS to thermal printer have to be a USB connection
