ERPNext (v12) indented quantity

Hi folks,
Indented quantity is a new term in ERPNext version 12.
Can you please share some thought on whether it is same as requested quantity(erpnext v11) or something else?

My understanding before coming here is that, it the material request quantity raised.

Hello, you are right! The indented quantity is the Material request quantity that is projected to be received.

Could you share where exactly have you come across this field specifically?
