ERPnext v13.37.0 POS appears broken

Dear All,

This is the first time for me to post in the forum since using ERPnext for 2 years.
Recently, I decided to explore the POS function, and realized that the POS interface is completely broken. The POS module has not been customized/modified in any way since the installation, and no issues/errors appeared in the console log. Should I perform an update to see if it fixes things (not ideal as I’m not really a developer and I’m really afraid of breaking the other usable modules)? Please help

Hi,

ERPNext v13 reached End of Life at the end of 2023. Try a supported version and see if that works better for you.

@kartik yes, as of now we had to reduce it ~2.5 years. IMO both Framework and ERPNext are maturing quite well, so we’ll soon start providing LTS versions. V13 has had a supported life of 2.75 years. As of now supporting more than 2 concurrent major versions is becoming quite a problem for us. Especially because of large refactors from v14/v15. v13 also was built on top of system dependencies like python 3.6, MariaDB 10.3, NodeJS 12 which are all already EOL or nearing EOL.
