ErpNext V13 - Loan Management Rate of Interest

Dear ErpNext Team,
Thank you for keep improving my favorite ERP ever.
I was evaluating V13 new Module “Loan Management”, found that Rate of interest is always calculated on the remaining balance, however, in many loan types, it should be calculated on the original loan amount.

Is there anything I can do to change the rate of interest calculation method?

It seems flat interest rates are not available. It will be better if we can define the same in the loan type.
