ERPNext V16, python3.14, eventlet <= dilemma?

My dear fellow frappe and ERPNext enthusiasts!

The otherwise brilliant ERPNext version 16 seems to rely on python 3.14. Socket.io however, badly needs module “eventlet”, which on the other hand is no longer available in python 3.14.

It seems also that eventlet can not so easily be replaced by another module. Have we stepped into a dilemma here? No more real time events for a while?

I am not sure how eventlet is involved here…, but got socketio working on lastest frappe version-16 (python 3.14.2 and node 24)

Thanks avc, I stand corrected then! Maybe node 24 was key…

Can’t try anymore now because we had to roll back today, accounting couldn’t take that kind of drinking strength yet. We’ll let 16 graze on the pasture a little more
