Error accessing ERPNext production site

When accessing the ERPNext site through the url I get site took too long to respond.

What could be the issue?

Now I can’t reach the site at all. Is there any error log I can check to see what is going wrong?

I tried restarting nginx: Didn’t help
Restarted the server: The site works for a few minutes and then stops working again

Check you database connection.
Are access the over the internet or local?
Check fail2ban to see if you are band from access the system.

You might be on to something cause I can access it fine through my phone (using mobile data). So it’s either that or an ISP routing problem. How do I check fail2ban?

EDIT

I added my ip to the fail2ban ignore list found here /etc/fail2ban/jail.conf I will keep monitoring the situation
