I tried a server script to automatically fetch info from purchase receipt doctype to serial no doctype when submitting purchase receipt. The script didnt work so i deleted it and now i can’t submit a purchase receipt since i get an error message. I don’t understand why this is happening as it was working perfectly before i put the script…how can i repair that?

Please restore the script from Deleted Document Doctype.
After restoring the script, first, disable the script and check in the doctype.
If your doctype worked fine then delete the script.
