Error observed while hiding rate field

Hi

We have a requirement that for a Sales Order, a sales user can only see the items details of the sales order but not the prices.

I have tried this scenario by setting permission levels. I defined a permission level 1 for Rate Field in the Sales Order Item form.
Here are the screen shots from the Sales User console.

As you can see, in the item details, the rate field is hidden but in the item list, the rates are still showing.
Am I missing something here?

TIA
Rasika

Hi Rasika,

Rate field is hard-coded for read-only grid display. Please raise an issue on github.com/frappe/erpnext/issues
