While making a asset depreciation, I am getting the following error:

I think, you set the branch as an Accounting Dimension. linking issue.

yes, the branch is set as an accounting dimension

so it’s a linking issue when click on make depreciation entry, otherwise your branch is not set in the journal entry side. Not sure but you have to check the code structure and how its works.
