Error while installing ERPnext: Clear Cache not found

An error occurred while installing erpnext:

Module import failed for Sales Taxes and Charges Template (erpnext.accounts.doctype.sales_taxes_and_charges_template.sales_taxes_and_charges_template Error: cannot import name 'clear_cache')

Installed frappe bench on a bare metal server twice now. Get this error whenever I install erpnext on a site. Any fixes?

Hi,

It might help to say what host OS, the version of frappe and ERPNext and what method of installation. The command that produces the error is bench --site <site-name> install-app erpnext ?

Ubuntu 18, I think frappe would be 13.12.xx. I ran bench update --reset before every install so the latest version I think. Yeap this is the exact command i’m running bench --site <site-name> install-app erpnext

Any update on this guys? I’m facing the same issue here.

It seems like frappe and erpnext versions were not compatible.

I ran a bench switch-to-branch version-13 frappe erpnext --upgrade

And it went good.
