Error while upgrading to V11 because of customization that I don't need

I was once testing with customization and it created issues that I am not able to overcome yet during updates. I called this customization “ui_customizaion”. I don’t need it and don’t use it. Can you please guide me on how to completely remove it so that ERPnext does not see it during the bench update process.

The error I received is:
./apps/ui_customization should either be a path to a local project or a VCS url beginning with svn+, git+, hg+, or bzr+

Can you please help to go around this?

By the way, I have another test server that upgraded from V10 to V11 without issues.

is this an external app?

Yes this suggests and external app correct?

In which case this may help Uninstall & remove Apps

Hello, yes it’s an external app. I made it for testing customization, and it was a mistake!

Thanks removing my appd from sites/apps.txt helped to move on through the update.
Unfortunately I ran into another issue, but it’s not related to customizaiton so I will post it somewhere else.

Thanks for the quick help.
