Fetch Delivery Date in to sales order item

I have custom filed called delivery date in quotation item i need to transfer it when make sales order to sales order item

Is field name of Delivery Date exactly same as in the Delivery Date field in the Sales Order? Please try once following this approach. It it doesn’t work, it could be because of the additional existing code specifically for updating Delivery Date in the Item table based on the Delivery Date below Posting Date field of Sales Order.

you write so how we can avoid this to update delivery date automatically from quotation I thinking to make another custom field in sales order quotation for an expected delivery date but I don’t know who it will affect on other transactions
