Hey all!
Started using ERPNext a few weeks ago and am loving it so far. I found the need to add a simple piece of functionality and figured I’d share it since I image this is a common process to use.
When we order things from our suppliers we have a few quality control checks and most of the data for the QC checks is already saved in ERPNext (Specification, Acceptance Criteria) I just added two more (Test Method, Sampling Rate) and created a custom print format. Now for our QC checks we just need to go to item > print > (name of new print format). The massive table at the end is to record data on field - pen and paper. Statistically relevant parameters (max, mix, SD, mean) go into the Quality Inspection doctype, along with an attachment of a scan of this filled out paper.
I still gotta do some work to it, but the functionality is here and thought I’d share it in case anyone else needs it!
