Filters on Stock Balance Report

I am not sure as to the reason behind why item and warehouse filters were introduced on the stock balance report. Must be a technical reason because from a business perspective the new configuration is very limiting.

Often times you need the report to trace material. You may need to export a complete stock balance report

Assuming that without a strong reason you wouldn’t have moved to the new configuration, the optimal output would be to ask Frappe to use only one - Item or Warehouse filter. How do we export a complete stock balance report?

Yes, filter should not be mandatory.

Also, we ware easily filter Item and warehouse in existing stock balance report.

Warehouse filter will be useful if anyone want warehouse wise total value(i.e last total row of report), but again warehouse filter should not be mandatory.
