We have a fixed conversion rate between foreign currencies and the company currency.
See below table:
Foreign Currency

Conversion Rate
EUR

AUD

0.6050
USD

0.6400
We can create a new DocType in the system to enter and store
above data.
We have a requirement where we don’t want end user to enter
the conversation rate where the supplier’s currency is different than the
company’s currency. We want system to pick up the conversion rate based on the
fixed conversion rate specified in the above table (DocType) and use it for all
the calculation. This table may get updated once every 3 months but we don’t
need to store any information regarding when it was changed (since conversion
rate get stored in the PO itself, so no need to track historical changes). So
could someone please guide me through how best to achieve this? Thanks.
Also is there any way to display 4 decimal point for the conversion
rate? Currently it only display up to 2 decimal point.

Thanks Anand. It is good to hear that it is already being done. Only challenging part is how best to migrate to new version when it comes out without affecting end user and making sure nothing is broken. I should perform some testing work on responsive branch :). Any idea when this new development will be released.

Hi Mayur,
It should take about 2-3 weeks (hopefully). You can start testing it now if you can, and contribute issues and suggestions.
Thanks,

I have just started to test new responsive branch. I have come across some minor issues which I have already reported via github. I am not able to figure out how one can setup currency conversion rate between different currencies (as per this topic). You mentioned that it was going to be part of this new branch. Could you please let me know where I can find this functionality in this new version?
Thanks.
