We are a flexible packaging manufacturer and would like to know if ERPNext can handle Extrusion, Printing, Lamination, Slitting, Pouch Making, Injection Molding, QC, Production Planning, Costing, Cylinder Management, GSM Calculations, and Wastage Tracking.
Are these features available by default, or do they require customization? If customization is needed, what would be the approximate implementation timeline?

Flexible packaging is a specialized industry and ERPNext can handle most of what you’ve listed, though some modules will need customization.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
Available by default: Production Planning, QC, Costing, Wastage Tracking (partial)
Needs customization: Cylinder Management, GSM Calculations, process-
wise tracking (Extrusion - Slitting - Pouch Making)
Implementation timeline typically ranges from 8 to 16 weeks depending on complexity and data readiness.
